Why we collect your data

Psyon Games Oy is a data controller and collects personal data about you for any of three reasons:

  • Serving you directly. Our Products need some information to serve you, such as your IP address. The game requires information on your device type, ID, orientation, and these may be sent to us. To provide game services such as high scores and cloud save, we also need to link your information to your accounts, these features are optional.
  • To meet our obligations under the law, such as correctly filing income reports, taxes, etc
  • To analyse how you interact with our Products, market our Products, ensure the security of our Products, and to identify problems in our Products. On both the Site and in the Game, we track things you do, like tapping buttons or getting killed by a bacteria.

What we collect from the Site

As you “pass through” – required to provide basic services when you view our webpages, we collect:

  • Masked IP address
  • Date and time of the request
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (what webpage you want)
  • Access status / HTTP status code
  • Respective size of transferred data
  • Website the request has come from
  • Browser
  • Operating system and its interface
  • Language and version of the browser software

What we collect from Antidote

When you install Antidote, Google collects stuff on you that we can see. This includes your device type, date of install, language, and some other stuff. This data is not personally identifiable and is only visible to us in aggregate.

Antidote is built with Unity. As part of its operation, Unity sends data to the Unity servers, including information about your device and various unique identifiers, including IDFA, Android Ad ID, IDFV and MAC address – for a full list, check Unity’s privacy policy). When you launch Antidote, Unity will immediately communicate certain information about your configuration to the Unity servers. This data is extremely useful to us developing the game, as it allows us to ensure we support your device and detect problems early, without you having to do anything. Once you start the game, you can make yourself invisible by sending a do not track request via the settings menu.

If you choose to, in addition to Unity Analytics, the game may send data to our analytics solution. This system is opt-in, and transmits information on how you play the game to our secure servers, so that we can better improve the game experience. This includes information such as when you win or lose a level, and how you play the game.

Antidote also includes social features, such as the high scores board. By default these services work using a non-reversible unique ID based on your device information. If you choose to sign in and associate your unique ID with an account or nickname, you must accept the Playfab privacy policy in addition to this one.
