Happy All Hallows’ Eve!
Everyone at Psyon Games has been working extra hard to prepare for the upcoming IndieGoGo campaign (you can find out more about it by subscribing to our mailing list below) and the eventual launch of Antidote. For most of the team, this means loss of both hair and sleep (I think the boss man’s hairline was showing signs of hiding in a closet, somewhere) as work hours lose all meaning and the definition of “free time” is rewritten to something along the lines of “the portion of time spent working with slightly less vigour.”
It’s not all bad, though! The increased working pace means things are starting to look spectacular when it comes to the game. The art and mechanics are both looking better than ever and everything seems to be working smoothly for now – the stability of our recent batch is off the charts. All the stress also means that relaxation is carefully planned. Being the bunch of geeks we are, we’ve scheduled our destressing to involve the whole team around a table of D&D.
In summary, it’s never smooth sailing and calm seas here at Psyon Games, but we all love what we do and things are looking great. If you have the time, check out our IndieGoGo campaign and back us for some wonderful rewards!
As a side note, my project this year will be to carve an Antidote related pumpkin for All Hallows’ Eve. Wish me luck, and I’ll post some photos when it’s done! Given that there’ll be something of a pumpkin left to post after I’m done, that is. Happy Halloween to one and all, may it be full of spooks and horror!
(And what could be more spooky and horrible than an army of bacteria and viruses headed right at you?)
Here’s some lovely Antidote Halloween art from one of our talented artists – and don’t forget to subscribe to our mailing list if you want to stay up to date on recent news and developments, including the IndieGoGo launch!
